Gamecube ISOS

Sup,
Yo wats the del with gamecube can it be moded? why i ask u ask its because ive read that u can download gamecube images and ive been past a couple of gamecube isos such as... final fantasy crystal cronicles and zelda etc on overtnet and shareza.So i take it the gamecube can be moded if not can somebody explain to me...like the discks a so small what u burn the isos on to recordable mini discs or sumtin ? im not really sure .Maybe there isnt any gamecube chips after all?.Whats the deal can someone plz explain?

The gamecube can be chipped. Mainly to play imports as any selfrespecting person will buy current generation games and support the game companies

And if you do download the ISOs, you would have to copy them on to mini DVD-Rs.

I don't think you do that. I thought you used the Phantasy Star Online exploit where you would use the broadband adapter to transfer the game to the GC.

Yeah you can stream GC ISO's from PC to and from the GameCube through Phantasy Star Online I&II or Phantasy Star III

Needed Hardware:-
Game Cube
PC
Game Cube Broad Band Adaptor
Crossover Lan network leads
PC Lan Network card or Port if built into motherboard (Any will do though)

Software Needed/Recomended
Game Cube Phantasy Star Online I&II or III
PC Pheonix Loader (This has everything built into one program for streaming to and from your Game Cube)

By the way there is no burning software that can read GC ISO's to burn them, they are not in a normal format.

This is far from perfect as alot of game lag due to the streaming but I use it mainly as a means of trying before buying

there's also a gamecube emulator, but it isn't very good and can only play a few commercial games plus a bunch of homebrews.

I would say the emulator progressed really well considering everything. Sure it isn't exactly perfect but since the gamecube is current gerneration, there's no need for it to work on a playable level yet

Go buy the game, support this generation of systems, since its not hard to walk outside and to a store and find all the gamecube games, they arent exactly rare

Depends were you live there are 0 good game shops were I live, specially for GameCube games, but I still buy the games I want online.

I still find streaming a good way to see if a game is worth getting (Try before I buy) specially as there are no GameCube rental places near me either.

Personly I have a large collection of GameCube games that I paid for so I fully support the system but I like to see if a game is worth getting first.
