or it might be that the pixels are designed for the order on a TV, it is different than a monitor...I play all my games through my video output to my TV, and they all look like the original...except with higher res 3D...
That isn't possible unless you have an hd tv because I am pretty sure that N64 games run at 640x480 which is the max resolution for a regular TV.

Neh your wrong I run my PC through a TV conection aswell at 1024x768 with my GeForce FX 5600 and PS2 runs higher than 640 by 480 anyway

MY GeForce 2 was limited though to 800x600 so for PC to TV conectivity it depends on your GFX card

Ok, Thanks. Also, what is it that you like about 1964 so much Knowitman. I haven't downloaded it yet, but its description at emuparadise makes it seem, not so great.

Also, what is a good N64 Emulator that has game genie support or something along those lines? ThaNX

The version on this website is the older one, don't get that.

    http://1964emu.emulation64.com/

1964 is very fast, pretty damn compatible, has a few really nice features (per rom plugin settings, adjustable speed). It's a nice alternative (not alternative not replacement) for PJ64. Just remember that you can use the same plugins in both emulators.

So if you like a certain graphics plugin, but it's running a bit slow in PJ64, try it in 1964. Should be better.

Also, what is a good N64 Emulator that has game genie support or something along those lines? ThaNX
1964, PJ64, Nemu and possibly more have great support for cheats. You can add your own, but you can't use the emulator to search for them (with the possible exception of Nemu as far as I can remember).

If you ever have a particular cheat request for 1964/PJ64 then let me know, as I know the person who makes them all (on the proper console with all the original games! - I've seen a pic).

Also I would also like to mention that the description is totally incorrect, re:

This is the last release by schibo, the original author. He has joined the TR64 team.
I can't ever remember Schibo joining the TR64 team to be honest. Whatever, the description needs changing

Thank You. I'd like a Cheat for Paper Mario...

But have absoutley no idea how to "insert" it. Insert is probably the wrong word, but you understand what i'm trying to say hopefully.

    ThankYou.

What type of cheat? You need to be more specific. For example, latest 1964 with latest cheat file has the following cheats for Paper Mario:

um... All if i could ?

Are the ones for 1964 compatible with PJ64?

Edit: wow, i feel dumb. Project 64 has the cheats intergrated.

Cool, ok, so how would I go about downloading new cheats though? Cannot find the folder where they store them or anything.

    Thanks

Read the readme file that comes with the emulator, in PJ64s case I believe it is a .chm file (Yellow question mark icon, with PJ64 underneath it).

It will answer all of your questions about adding cheats.
