I can't decide whether old school graphics or today's hyper realistic graphics are better.





It's harder to do pixel art and animate sprites though. Smaller dimensions and less pixels to arrange in a coherent manner which depicts the subject and character with minimal information.

that is a tough call as they all look good.

I am getting burned out on my little universe it's becoming increasingly tedious. tool and armor upgrades are taking more resources and higher level ones at that, the higher level resources take more time to gather and yield less the charge attack is the best method but it's slow(even with the perks)
I think I'll check out serious sam 2 or go back to another game I have been taking a little break from.
on another pc gaming note I seen that the uncharted legacy of thieves collection was added to GOG.

Yeah it's really just a question of aesthetics and art style. Games with video quality used to be like Sewer Shark as playable movie genre of its own, now we have games trying to be every genre at one time. KISS, keep it simple stupid; a good rule of thumb and not just a rock band.

I got it into my head today to test something out on my ps3. I have an old ps2 usb adapter that I don't use anymore and got wondering if it'd work on my ps3 with my ps2 guitar plugged into it. the buttons work but the strummer doesn't seem to work I think I'll grab a GH ps3 game and see if it'll work on it.

I downloaded GH 3 to test it the controller was detected and the buttons worked until I got to the game menu then nothing worked. would have been nice if it did work.
I was looking on ebay for a ps3 guitar in my price range but all I can find are untested ones without the dongle and all the dongles are running $15-$20+ each

Why not retro it up for a while with WWF Warzone for N64 creating a character that looks like you with Shawn Michaels as the wrestler template? Then you can DX your groin and end it with Sweet Chin Music. Who here remembers The Rockers tag team?

Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Undertaker are the best technical wrestlers of all time and Undertaker just happens to be 6' 10" as bonus. Andre the Giant was really 6' 11" and so is Kane, the real giants with superstar skills are the Brothers of Destruction.

the last wrestling game I played was one of the WWF games on snes that was a long time ago. I did have WCW on N64 back in high school but I never did like the controls my friend had smack down for PSX that was a better game.
I started playing serious sam 2 but I haven't really been able to get into it, it doesn't feel as fun as the first games the dual wielding is cool but can be a bit detrimental on kbm I can see it working better with a controller.

You can use GameShark to search for cheats while selecting moves for custom wrestler in ECW. I had a god that did nothing but finishing moves.

I always thought Andre was taller than that hell he's not much taller than I am. I also didn't know that Kane was still alive or a mayor. is Hulk Hogan still alive?

Yep, Hulk is still alive last time I checked. I'm 5' 10" 245, trying to get down to 240 because I'm a natural heavyweight and look normal at this weight. In case you create a player in a game those are my stats and my fighting style is Judo. In MMA games I'm ground and pound and submission expert, getting opponents to the ground and breaking limbs or necks after takedowns and throws. Can and do strike with Jeet Kune Do but not my specialty.

I added more info on my stats in case anyone recreated me in a game. You're statuesque, can play shooting guard in the NBA. I played point guard as in an amateur park league.
