Gene Rodenberry was rejected by studios when proposing his idea for a show and DesiLu funded it because Lucy and Desi believed it would inspire social and technological advancement for a better future.

Edit:// the one finger salute is Spock's human side(he is half-Vulcan), when reason is not enough logic is for the Vulcans; enemies attacking you and making insidious demands get the human salute from Starfleet.

All the stuff made around then by Desilu was kept on film grade stock, so it has all survived time very well compared to other tv shows.
Lucille Ball owned the company herself when Star Trek was filmed.

Desi had already sold his holdings before Star Trek, they were divorced before that happened anyway.

Agreed and without Desi the business would not have been founded. He liked the show and his fame contributed to its success under the Desilu brand.

Almost done with Magic Users Club TV. It's a shame they didn't do another OVA series instead.

can't remember exactly but I think I was having trouble getting some of the striders before they reached the base.

    All works well
Played some Alien Brigade and Dark Chambers.

Still has stock rf output, original psu has been swapped for local mains aftermarket psu (still has original type 7800 plug though).

    Only bad points are:
Serial on console doesn't match box (box is really nice for age).
Doesn't include Pole Position II cart (the box is "free game" version). Might see if I can grab one sometime, but need to source US cart which will be a problem... US 7800 carts are rare over here and shipping is stupid for a cheap cart like this
Shipping is just turrible now. Guessing even just a single cart would be $30 US if not more which yeah, brutal.

I think it's actually just over $30aud for most listings I looked at. But yeah, for a cheap cart alone it isn't worth it.
Not when I've got whole heavy consoles shipped domestic for around $20-25aud.

it really is. I noticed back in october that amazon upped their rate for free shipping from $25 to $35 and their regular shipping rate is $12-$15 I know they want everyone on prime but that's a bullshit way to go about it.

Can your PC run The Outer Worlds? It's great even at lowest graphics setting. And it is better than Fallout at rendering the landscape, but not as good as I portray it. I do The Outer Worlds better than The Outer Worlds does.

that sounded really familiar so I had to look it up, it looks awesome but no I can't run it.
