I'm trying to play Tales of Destiny II (AKA Tales of Eternia). After toying around for a while, I got it to work fairly well. My only major problem now (that I've discovered, at least) is that the screen is constantlly blinking and flashing. I've tried different settings, but they didn't work, and only caused something else. These are my settings:

does that freeze at any point inparticular or is it more random
Playing the game through ePSXe does seem to be laggy with it, I will have a play with the settings after figuring what the crashy problem might be

could you post a zip file with both a memcard and a savestate as close to the crashy point as you can

there is a comand line just for that game -legaia
You can try it by creating a short cut to ePSXe then right clicking the shortcut and left clicking properties then click on the shortcut tab then edit the Target: so it has -legaia at the end outside the " marks


I know I don't own TOD2, so I can't realy help with that one

7z files are achive files you need to extract the file/s contained with in the 7z file to run anything.

That's an Alcohol120% file, you might be able to run it by mounting it in A120% and running it with ePSXe. I can't say for sure.

If you want to play it on a real PS then you'll need to burn it, again with Alcohol120%. These files normally come as .MDF & .MDS, sort of like .bin & .cue.

Hey, I'm relatively new to this forums, but I've got a problem with Metal Gear Solid. A minute or two into cutscenes or dialogue, the sound and sometimes the video starts skipping and echoing.
I think that question has already be asked, but the only answer I saw was to use pete's openGL, which my graphic card apparently doesn't support. (I'm using Pete's D3D Plugin on the "nice" default settings (already tried it on "fast") and eternal spu plugin for sound, and yes, I did check the box for the mgs fix).

Does anyone know of some magic configuration that fixes this annoying problem?

Umm, this seemed the right place to ask so.. I just downloaded FF7 first disc and I noticed that in battle, where it shows all those commands, there is only black. It doens't show my characters hp, no skills, magic or anything, it's just black. The upper part of screen works well though, so umm.. anyone can help me?
