USB Controller Difficulty

Hello all,

I'm trying to use the emulator to play NES games on my Mac OS. However, the controllers don't work when I plug them into the USB ports. I've tried using controllers that plug directly in, as well as adapters. The system appears to recognize the controllers are there, but they still don't work (see below). Any advice?

Pads tend not to auto config them selves
Plug your pad in before starting up any emulator
Once the emulator has started
Go to Controls as you have in the screen grab select the device you use (Make sure you do this for Player 1 first though)
then click in each button and press that button on your pad to assign it
