What is wrong with PSX games

Every PSX game I download seems like it is corrupted this was not the case previously and even games I have successfully downloaded before are now corrupt. what is going on? Specifically I am loooking for this game

Have you tried re-downloading or using a download manager program? A download manager will resume interrupted downloads so more likely to be the full file.

It works for me on ePSXe 1.9.25 with .bin file size 427185KB:417MB

If you need more help, please post what emulator and version you are having problems with, what plugins, etc.

you need to be more specific.
you could try using imgburn, set disk write speeds to 8x (nominal speeds) and give it a go.
make sure the media is good quality, and also ensure the disk writing program finalizes the disk write.
NO open session writes, closed session only.
...
are the disk images verified as retail/exact?
look up 'redump.org' and compare the relevant items there.
if they match up by hash 101%, review usage.
if they don't...
...
and is the mod on the playstation working right?
is the laser on the drive assembly okay?
does the console need a good interior service?
...

l I downloaded , I put on a cd with imgburn . I try to be the first screen then there is the symbol of the ps1 . just leaves this screen turns black all over and not be more

maybe it's the type of file ? disolito files I use .bin / cue or iso . This however is bin.ecm

right!
what you have is an archived image, packed with ecm.
look into 'pakkiso' and ecm/unecm.
you should end up with the uncompressed bin image.
when that's done, write clean image to disk.

tried, but there's clearly a LACK of communication, all i can suggest is look for an alternative download of the game if you can't expand playstation ecm compressed files.

there's little to work with here.
there's another known public romsite with the FF games, but i won't mention it...reasons and rulzes.

dunno what to say really.
post back a directory list of the game in question please. (so at least there's a chance of resolving this?)

Try using this guide http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?57757 for those pesky ecm and ape files

The guide does not use 'pakkiso' that fails for some users, instead it uses the original tools to handle ecm and ape files and is easy to use
