Ttitle says it all. The DVD release of the first Berserk movie is coming out on May 23. DVD release means fansubs and a possible official English release, which is always good.

Saw the trailer, wasn't terribly fond of the animation style. The pseudo-3D just doesn't really seem to fit the subject matter well, imo.

God I hated Gosick so much.

As for myself, about 2/3 through Dance in the Vampire Bund now, next on the plate is most likely the second season of Aria if I get that far before Saturday morning.

It's not 100% CG, and there's quite a bit of traditional animation as well, but I see what you mean. After a while it kinda grew on me, though. And from what I've seen from some of the fight scenes, they're choreographed/animated very well and don't look out of place. See the clip starting around 1:14 in this video. So I'm not terribly worried.

That fucking scene was where I completely snapped and went "fuck this shit".

And I always approve of people watching Aria because it's fantastic.

Edit: Ah, totally forgot. Hellsing OVA 09 came out a while ago, only got around to watching it now. Girlycard finally makes his appearance!

Because I was into anime well before I was into manga I often wondered what some people were bitching about with anime adaptations. And then...Dance In The Vampire Bund happened.

Which isn't to say the anime is terrible if you take it separately.
