Thumbs up Lets Play! Sonic The Hedgehog (Sega Master System) - No Commentary*

No Commentary on this one sorry also it all in 1 hit since I didnt expect that much interest

Other than a few facepalm deaths here and there I finish the game which wasnt bad considering its been well over 15 years since i last played it. I Had considered dubbing over it but it wouldnt be the same as the natural reaction when playing it.

Edit: Updated the OP for a 6 part system one video per zone!

    Well Enjoy!

    Part 1: Green Hill Zone

    Part 2: Bridge Zone

    Part 3: Jungle Zone

    Part 4: Labyrinth Zone

    Part 5: Scrap Brain Zone

    Part 6: Sky Base Zone

I didn't even know this one exsisted, it looks really bad compared to the Genesis one, i find it odd that they made it after the genesis version, i wonder if its rare now...

Well the Master System was 8-Bit the Genesis / Mega Drive was 16-Bit what did you expect This one was in the making around the same time as the 16-Bit one was just released a little later as these 8-Bit Sonic games moved along there looks did improve mind you.

It was released only a few months later on an 8-bit system, of course it looks worse than Sonic for the Genesis. It wasn't so much released later as developed concurrently. Sonic the Hedgehog for the MegaDrive/Genesis was considered the very first Sonic ever released, but this one was so close you can't really call it "later" as a reason as to why it should look better. :p

1991? So I had the right idea when I thought both Sonic games (8 and 16-bit) came at the same time...
I played this one some 2 years ago I think, I was trying some Sonic games I never played before,
but I did not remember it looked so... "super marioish"... you know, with the map in the beginning
and the 8-bit tune... is kinda creepy.

Green Hill Zone starts... uh... oh my, the camera is just...

Did you do that on purpose? I mean, you gained speed in that ramp and then Sonic just
wasn't on the screen anymore... oh wait. That was a bug, right? You used the bug.

Act 2 has water... and looks like a Kirby level.
I am pretty sure I played this... I could I not recall?

Hmm, the emeralds are scattered around the levels and instead of Sonic's face you get a "!" on the flag...
... interesting. Also, that bonus stage is scary... and they even wrote "sega" with the rings... spooky. ^^'

    Now I get this:

... but the hitTest was terrible in that boss. You should not have lose a life there. Programmers' fault.

I also LOL'd at that "Sonic dance".

Now... was the boss supposed to attack there? I mean... he was just wandering around, mocking with your face.

Oh, I remember the music from this "bridge" zone! It is very nice, and it is
also easy to play in the piano... (for that "cheap rewarding" feeling. )

I will watch the other zones soon.

(but, heh, they used the part of the "swing" for that platform near the waterfall... )
