Gare plays Paranormal*

So in order to quickly test out my new headset I play through Paranormal, which is basically this game that tries to emulate Paranormal Activity, the movie. You'll see once you start the video. It's kind of an experimental game, I think, so it's not very long, thankfully.

I think the dizziness-inducing shaky cam had more of an effect on me than any of the scary shit the ghost tried to do.

Kind of a fail ghost, if you ask me.

I thought it was weird, but not scary. The jump scares were predictable, too short of a game.

I haven't yet watched the video, but it sounds like they've emulated Paranormal Activity pretty well.

I don't mind the movies, though I've only seen the first two. My main problem with them is not that they're boring (although they kind of are), but that I hate the characters so much that I don't much care for their plight.

Anyway, a guy with so many little mannequins and strange fetus paintings in his house is pretty much asking to have his place haunted, if you ask me.

The terracotta statue/giant mud baby that suddenly appears in the lavatory mirror is probably the only thing I found uniquely disturbing.
