Default Gare tries OnLive - Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands*

Yeah, so I try to OnLive for the first time ever with PoP: TFS. I play through the 30 minute long free trial and share my initial thoughts/first impressions.

(My test run of Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2 on Gaikai, a similar streaming service, is here.

If you aren't like me, in this case, probably the 3 days pass would be more than enough to beat this game

Well, I'm not a completionist, if that's what you mean. But I tend to take my time, even with games like this.

I beat the game in 9 hours or so. I unlocked everything in about 14, I only missed one or two trophies. Watched all the cutscenes both times, it's a pretty short game.

    More than a completionist, I'm a slow gamer, that's what I meant

You rarely need to use power attacks. The camera behaved on the PS3 version .

Aren't both current gen POP games going for like 10 bucks now anyway?

I dunno, I only checked on Steam. It's 20 euros (roughly 28 bucks if Google doesn't lie) there. I don't care that much about this game.

    Pretty cool!

It looks like the service is working pretty well over there. I was curious if it would work as well as it does over here. Also, I'm not sure if you know, or if you might prefer not to, but the 360 wired controller is natively supported in OnLive. (keyboard gaming drives me insane)

    Also, Add me

It works quite well, indeed. If the framerate ever looks choppy, that's Youtube's fault. It ran very smoothly when I was recording.

Also played some FEAR3 earlier today, that one ran very well, too. Might even record it, if I'm in the mood.
