Happen to go down/run through some of Mikoto's bits in ML?

More or less the same shit, except if it were more express that it was female in the original universe (instead of a woman pretending to be a male).

In this instance, Okabe starts to feel bad for being the weird and somewhat insensitive guy he frequently is. Which was part of his whole character arc, IE: towards the end he stops being so.... Okabe.

But yeah I might have to read the VN at one point. I hear there are cosplay shenanigans. And who wouldn't want to bone dat Kurisu.

    There are.

Also, this semicolon subseries, while published by a traditionally 18+ company, tends to be Fanservice;NoPorn.

Unless they go back and add some in.

    People do that sometimes.

    In other news.

Congratulations, you guys just selected the least appropriate music for a Thief trailer. Le sigh.

Then again, the trailers of Thief 3 used similarly lulzy music so I'm not bothered too much.

Okay, it's a bit too intense for a slow paced game and something a little more "slow" and "mysterious" would have worked.

But hey, it could be worse.

Also, bets on whether that chick comes back as the primal who is either the endboss or the sequel hook?

I was just gonna say. They're making it soooo obvious that the chick will come back at one point because she fell straight into that portal thing.

    Oh god Dragon Age.

Music would fit DA2 just fine, though.

With that said I'm still optimistic about the game because the level design appears fairly Thief 3-like, but I *really* hope they didn't try too hard to appeal to the Assassins Creed dudebros.

Also, Manson's lyrics in that song (and the message it's trying to convey) are deliciously ironic when paired with the trailer.

I think the biggest potential problem is if they go a bit linearity/setpiece heavy. That was a frequent complaint about the last Hitman (which is about as close to Thief as Eidos has gotten property wise) and it was somewhat justified. But since the game was long and still had plenty of open areas I didn't feel the need to bitch that occasionally you're running down hallways from a bunch of pursuers, with less spots to hide (and they're usually just there so you can slip off and make it easier to run later). I suspect either way that the purists are going to be angry about a couple scripted sequences and such though.

Wait, did you just call me a dudebro?

Actually, the biggest AC fans I've met offline were all women.

Apparently chicks really dig pirates and Ezio.

Not big on indians and arabs though.

I guess "this is the old shit, but kinda remade to be a bit like our new shit. Okay we admit it." didn't roll off the tongue quite so easily.

Also, finally getting around to playing P4A.

Teddy's new VA is growing on me, but HOLY SHIT CHIE. DIE IN A FIRE.

I actually had to switch to the J voices when doing her story path. Shit's GRATING.

And of course she happens to mesh well with my play style. Ugh....

Also, sounds like Yukiko might be phoning it in. Haven't done her bit yet but it sounds...uneven.

Mitsuru and Akihiko are still AAA class though.

That's the Logitech Driving Force GT listed on eBay.

If I'm 100% honest, when I won it on eBay, I was hoping I'd get outbidded, but I won. It was one of those.

Going to say that I thought Steins;gate was one of the best anime I've seen in recent years, that joke aside because it doesn't strongly influence my opinion of the show one way or the other.
