    Default Recommend retro RPG's

    Yeah.
    Recommend me excellent old RPG's...

    NES-
    SNES-
    Megadrive-
    Saturn-

Preferrably english ones, that I can play on my Xbox/Saturn console(s).
    Playstation I know about...

NES - Crystalis, Legend of the White Lion, Final Fantasy
SNES - Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, FFMQ (yeah, so what?)
    Master System - Phantasy Star

I enjoyed those games quite a bit...

    SNES: Terranigma
    Megadrive: Crusader of Centy

I guess that will do. Won't recommend any NES RPGs because they suck badly. I've yet to find one that I actually have the patience to play through.

Saturn: Shining Force 3 (Unfortunately, only 1 of the three scenarios saw an english release), Albert Oddyssey, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Magic Knight Rayearth, Riglord Saga, Shining the Holy Ark.

Genesis: Phantasy Star 2-4, Shining Force 1 & 2, Langrisser 2, Shadowrun. Add in Dark Wizard, Lunar and Lunar 2 if you have count the SegaCD.

SNES: Romancing Saga 3, Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2, Front Mission, Super Mario RPG, Robotrek, Tales of Phantasia, Star Ocean, Dragon Quest 5 and 6, Fire Emblem, Uncharted Waters, Lufia 1 and 2, EVO: Search for Eden (more of a platfomer/RPG really). The SNES had so many RPGs I could tie you up for years just with the cult classics, and I haven't even mentioned half of those.

Won't touch the NES ones as I never really played RPGs on it.

I didn't miss Blazing Heroes. It was released in Japan as Riglord Saga.

Confusing names, since it was also released in Europe as Mystaria: The Realms of Lore.

I'm from Oz, not the US. We usually get the Euro names, every now and then we get the Japanese ones.

    I reiterate, .

Oh, and Secret of Evermore for Snes. Not all that great, but still has its good moments.

I'm about to get out Big Ass Emulator Disc 1 for Xbox, and start one of these RPG's. I was thinking the Front Mission games, for SNES. Anything better I should play first?

I love you man. Seriously, Destiny of an Emperor I & II. Best games ever made by Capcom, SAYS I.

The megadrive is the genesis, right? If so, Warsong. Strategy RPG. Orgamsic. Read my FAQ. All of you.

SNES: Breath of Fire 1 and 2, Front Mission, Bahamut Lagoon (pretty sure it requires a translation patch, though I may be wrong).
NES: Dragon Warrior 1 and 2.

All I can think of at the moment.
