    excellent rebutal

i beleive that you, and possibly I, are the only half-intelligent posters in this thread unfourtunately.

asking bad questions, and giving bad awnsers.

    as for
"You might want to explain why the Catholics, Protestants and Orthodox all have different Canon books then."

Did Matias say: "All Religions have an identical Canon"

no he said that there are no sub-divisions in heaven.

can you take four different paths and still get to the same place?

Matias said there is one word. That implies there's one set of scriptures, one set of beliefs.

Taken on a individual basis, yes, that's correct. I don't believe what a Catholic believes. For better or for worse, that's religion.

Humans have become much smarter than they were hundreds of years ago, hence why more and more people question the bible now
    1. That was in the 1680's
    2. The New Testament was written in 0060
    3. How is the Bible "fairy-tail ish"?

People are more intelligent today than they were 400 years ago. Smarter? Not really.

Yeah, but who do you believe what that one truth might be? Do you, Matias, claim everything in the bible to be 100% fact God's word, and you follow ALL of it? The parts about killing gays, stoning to death disobedient children, about men not allowed to come near women while they're on the rag? There's a WHOLE lot of shit that, if you followed it in the modern world, would very quickly get you a large number of dead bodies on hand.
As I was walking down the stair,
    I met a man who wasn't there.
    He wasn't there again today.
    I wish, I wish he'd go away.

Like I said, I'm the only one allowed to destroy faith around here.

    But very true nonetheless.

Please try to do more than copy verse. You created this thread for a discussion, and you are the only one not discussing anything.

Would God do the same things as the worldly? I dont think so. God's ways are higher than our ways. When God made the earth it was Good. Man disobeys God in so many ways without knowing, but i think God gives grace, mercy and all kinds of good things if you truely desire the truth of God's word. You can be as close to God as you want to be. Draw near to God and God will draw near to you.

The first of the NT books were written around 060ce or slightly later, the rest were written later, some in the early second century. Some were written in isolation, some clearly with the aid of the earlier books.

As for the fairytale thing, talking snakes, worldwide floods that manage to leave no trace, millions of people wandering the desert for decades and leaving no evidence. I think that's fairly close to a fairytale.

Course, if you think I'm wrong you're welcome to present evidence to the contrary. I'm here to discuss/argue, not preach.
