It's XP, but looks like Vista. It's nice.
It doesn't use much more 'resources' than Windows XP itself.

Actually Vista doesn't waste resources like most non-vista people seem to believe

Well it has nothing I want and I have no reason to change, so it's all pretty much just a waste imo.

I would dual boot w/XP & Vista. If I was to install Vista.

Still, it has a lot of compatibility problems and it's a resource hog... you really are into gaming? (Panda, I know you are )

Get more than 2 GB, and I can tell you this by a lot of experience. Heck, were still running our gaming machines at the job with XP and 2-4 GB of RAM (dependng of the system and XP cannot address the whole 4 GB, 3.25 is the maximum)and when we tested Vista the games we installed felt slower.

Unfortunately they want to demo a Halo 2 LAN game so... we'll be "upgrading" our demo gaming PC's to Me 2... Vista. :\

Please post a link to this info since it seems that I didn't know of this pack's existence.

That way I may consider installing that Vista Ultimate copy I have lying around...
