however i find it extremely frustrating ( as im sure many others have before me) to have to sit through class upon class trying to learn stuff you're never gonna use in life, while at the same wasting time that you cuold be learning stuff that you will use in life.

God fuck. I hate this country. I was watching some thing on like... The Learning Channel or some shit. On a standardized US test, the average score was like 56% or something while a group of Germans, I think, took the same test and none of them scored before an 80%. When I took this same test, I scored 78%. What can I say, I'm fucking stupid.

Actually, I've been north and south, and not only are people in the south a hell of a lot nicer, and sometimes a lot smarter.

Still have to disagree with you on that one, people in the south are just a hell of a lot more laid back than people in the north, the media just has a knack for finding the dumbest, worst accented person in the south. Unless you go to Mississippi But yeah, I can't recall the news source I read it from, but Alabama University and Harvard had a scholar's bowl, and AU won

EDIT - I'm going to leave it at this, I work at a CPA office in Southeast Alabama (used to be Charlotte NC as well, but its all moved down here), and weekly I deal with restaurants, small factories and warehouses, construction companies (I deal with a concrete company everyday), a chemical lab and other professional firms in Alabama, Atlanta Georgia, Greensville SC, Charlotte NC, Winston-Salem NC, Greenville IL, New York City NY, and some douche that moves around Maine Now then, if I had to rate the intelligence of these clients in these states, it would go: (highest on top of course)

North Carolina
South Carolina
Illinois
Georgia
New York
Alabama
Maine

I honestly don't know how we picked up a guy in Maine, but we pulled it off. Most of our clients in other states were picked up by word of mouth. But anyways, people in the south being a bunch of ignorant rednecks is just a stereotype is all I'm trying to say
