The only real problem with 4 was:

The absolute and total lack of guns and ammo (and the ones that are available suck massively)

Limited inventory (10 items at a time, incl. weapons)

Unkillable (for most of the game at least) "ghosts"

NPC babysitting

Backtracking

No free roaming (although 3 kinda had that as well, since the only part where you actually wander silent hill is a tiny, tiny segment of the map from SH2 only with pretty much everything locked or blocked.

In spite of that, the game was great IMO.

I keep thinking, imagine you get thrown into some important mission, you haven't fired a gun aganist a live target, it's your first time on the battlefield, and plus, you discover that your past wasn't real. Hence, you must be all badass and being like a killing machine and on top of that, you gotta match Snake. Yeah, it's not like that, that's why Raiden rules.

And yeah, the dressphere thingy was awesome, not just because of the hot costumes, but the fact that you can be anything, only thing I disliked is that some classes can't "Attack" and just do Magic.

It's mostly exclusive. It's possible there will be FF's on Xbox or ports, but I beleive that for the time being it's still PS3 exclusive for the most part (if they do get the games there'll be a rather sizable time period like with XI, although probably not THAT bad.)
