I was thinking that all our problems stem from religion or a set of beliefs causing genocides of horrific proportions to the Midian war and the slaughter of Jewish people and many others.

The Mass murder of Jews and "life unworthy of life" including but not limited to: criminal, degenerate, dissident, feeble-minded, homosexual, idle, insane, religious and weak humans.More than 400,000 persons were sterilized against their will, while 70,000 were killed in the "Action T4".
The Monstrous slaughter of Native Americans that go up into the millions.
