The tower of babel. I made a custom map in Deus Ex, building as tall a structure as possible in the game engine, then recorded a video of me climbing up it and jumping off the top and set it to a cool Smashing Pumpkins song.

beats the world record by, 7,000 ft, and with an appproximate cost of $482,000 using 57,800 cubic ft. of concrete.

assuming the walls are 12" thick, and the tower is 100ft from side to side.

Damn it all. I just went to the local mall here looking for a gamecube, which they have plenty of, but of the 3 gamestops and the sears, none of them have a gamecube memory card! I only got ten more stores that I can check, and if none of them have one, I have to get one online. This sucks.

On a somewhat related but not really note, They have a 64MB Mad Catz Playstation 2 memory card for sale at circuit city for $35. Anybody think it's a good deal?
