Same. It's not the first time I've signed up there (like 5 times?). 2 accounts were terrible, faked ratio. 2 were hit and run riddled, and the last was legit...

Got up to 8500 and some points. The crossword game seems to go on forever. I left it run all night and it didn't run out of puzzles. It completed over 300 games of it...
Of course, apparently no prizes are gonna be shipped out until august 31st, and with 6-8 week shipping then.
As I was walking down the stair,
    I met a man who wasn't there.
    He wasn't there again today.
    I wish, I wish he'd go away.

My girlfriend was doing that last night. Her descriptions of it made me uncomfortable in a way her recent taking up weed didn't... something about binging on cough syrup bothers me. I've known a lot of people fucked up from various controlled substances legal and illegal, though. :\

If you're using cough syrup with DXM as the only active ingredient, there's no real problem (besides the trip being perhaps too intense for some). If you use the stuff that's combined with aspirin or something else, it can get mildly unpleasant.

A lot of drugs, especially psychoactives, are a lot less dangerous than people think.

She specifically mentioned robutessin (or however that's spelled). I know that physically the dangers of most drugs aren't that much immidiately, but it still disturbs me. Becoming dependent on various chemicals and substances for your good times, spending your free money on weed and whatnot, accepting and smoking without question what people hand you (she's already done this once. :\ From a breakdown of her reaction, it seems whatever she smoked was laced with LSD or something similar )....
Gah. Like I said, I've known a lot of people fucked up bad from drugs, my own parents in particular. :\

Pretty much all the usual psychoactives aren't addictive, mentally or physically. Generally cheaper than a night on the piss as well.

Course, euphorics and the like are a whole different matter.

It's not the physical addiction of a specific drug I'm concerned about, but the general dependency on getting high as a central part of someone's lifestyle. Like I've said, I've seen it a lot.

Methampetamines are cooked down from certain headache pills (more commonly decongestant/flu pills like Sudafed), but overall it's chemically much closer to Ritalin. Which is probably worse when you think about it.

First and foremost, it would be a fucking waste of money on the dealer's part to lace weed with LSD, since pure LSD is not active when smoked. Second, it's highly unlikely that her weed was laced at all, and if it was, it would likely be PCP, or some sort of DMT based RC. Which would be another bhuge waste of money on the dealer's part.

Second, unless you're really fucking mental, forming a daily habit out of Psychedelics/Dissociatives is not easy.

General dependancy on getting high (aside from stimulants and deppresants, which of course are generally know for being addictive) is not too much of a risk for people who are content with things, and/or not weak willed. I smoked weed everyday for a couple of months or so due to pure boredom, and I wanted to stop for a week to get my tolerance down so I could have a better time on a camping trip. For a few days I couldn't get to sleep easy and was bored out of my mind, call it a mental withdrawal if you will, but it wasn't really that bad. Meditation helped, too. Now I probably only smoke once every few days, if that.

I know the pills they are cooked from.
I just think its funny when you get a big rant over drugs, yet the base of said drugs are used everyday.

I knew you would. I just thought I'd point out, for lemmings benefit, that society basically force-feeds meth to thousands of schoolkids each year. And then gets pissed off when people wanna unwind on their own terms.

    Fucking hypocrites.
