    It might be your discs not letting you burn at slower speeds. What make are the discs, also what make is your burner?

    CDs can't control how fast a burner burns onto them.

    I mean seriously, CDs that can control how fast you burn to them is like paper that can control how fast you write on it.

    I could write faster on good quality writing paper, but not on toilet paper.

    what he was saying was that a lower quality CDr mightn ot be able to handle being written at 52x like trying to use a very sharp pencile to write in toilet paper. but i've never heard of a CDr that couldnt be written adiqquately at 1x... seeing as how thats where all CDr start... my boyfriend is ion germany so i dont have nayhtign better to do than come here and pester you all
