Yeah mine's working aswell.

Mine stays on the signing in screen. "signing into windows live messenger...."
and stays there for a while. Then when I go to click it again I get "This program is not responding".

I never even see a signing in mesage. Atleast, not on this PC.

Close the app, open it up again, then check tools>options>connection. Try the troubleshooting button, or whatever it's called, you'll find.
