In game weapons, original?

Hi,
I've been playing alot of games lately, and i wanted to suggest the use of certain weapons in a certain online game, but i dont know if the weapons are copyrighted or if they are existing weapons which were used by the creators.
The weapons in question are the "Swallow blade" used by Serge in Chrono Cross and by Zidane in FF IX for the ps1, and the "Elbow blade" used by Talim in Soul Calibur.
If anyone can tell me if these weapons are copyrighted i'd be very grateful.

I doubt something as generic as that is copywrited. They dont copywrite every name and thing, they copywrite the game as a whole most of the time. But even then, using generic names arent copywrited.

Also, I doubt that a company unrelated to Squenix/NamcoBa would use a weapon with both the same name and looks in their own game. But a similar weapon with another name, sure, that happens more often than not.

Talim's soul calibur weapons are basically bladed Tonfa with hooks added. Nothing unique enough to copright there, although they'd be basically unwieldable in real life.

also does any1 have a pic/screenshot that really shows either of these weapons so i can use it as an example?
Almost everything on google is based on the characters.

I found some Final Fantasy and Soul Calibur weapons but not sure the ones you're looking for.
