It's a program that is very easy to use. It's not bad at all. snkupo recommends too.

It outputs files, just like on a real DVD. That's the whole point with the program VOBs in folders.
If you make a DVD ISO of a DVD, the ISO will contain the folders/VOBs, so you're kind of right anyways

Yes. Make sure to not re-arrange the files/folders in any way
The program will also burn it to a DVD automatically for you if you do not want to put them there manually.

I don't bother converting to dvd format, both my dvd players support divx. :heyhey:

Yes, my DVD also supports divx/xvid - and some other stuff as well which is why I don't use convertXtoDVD for my own stuff. I do however have some friends that do not have "new" DVD players. It is for them I use convertXtoDVD. Works nicely . Anyways, it will not start burning before the converstion is complete, of course, Jetset.
