I got ePSXe setup and working perfectly on my laptop earlier (on vista, with the "nice" box pressed in the video config). But is it normal for a popup to appear saying that a certain dll file can't be found (starts with an m, can't remember the name)? It didn't affect me being able to use the emulator, or edit any config or anything, it's just strange.

Google the name of the .dll file that's missing. Either it's a emulator file, if so, then place it in the ePSXe folder somewhere. Or it's a Vista file, which probably goes in the System32 folder. Or not. =\

It doesn't appear to be vital at all, and I'm not on my laptop right now and don't feel like starting it up at the moment, will later though.

Books aren't for reading. They're for decoration purposes only.

its a DLL thats part of Windows 2k/XP OEM installations AND NOT Retail versions of XP Pro or any version of Vista becasue its outdated. its pert of the ACPI Communication you need it to ensure smooth communication between the emu and the CD Drive but if your running form ISO then its not a problem. place it in the system32 folder to fix the problem.
