Default Password for split rar files

I cannot find the password for the split rar files for tales of destiny pack I and II. I have tried "File by Emuparadise.org" or "www.emuparadise.org" without the quotes and they do not work. The page says passwords should be on the page but it is not.

Someone here must know the password, so what is it?

I don't think the files are passworded, what are you using to extract the image files? did you use the batch files Zorlon created to combine the parts? You have to use those or it won't extract:

I am using winrar and I cannot use the batch files in linux. Is there not a way to extract without using the batch files? =S

Winrar is asking for a password so it has to be one...

Also, on the page is says "Then you may use WinRAR to extract them further" which probably means it will be asking for the password even if I was able to use the batch file.

If the files are passworded the password is one of the passwords you mentioned in your post, but as I said, winrar won't be able to combine them, if you were on windows you'd need the batch files or hjsplit.

I tried hjsplit, but could not get it to work =( Well, instead of trying with the files from here I will try with the site from Jackhammer.

    Thanks anyway.

I downloaded from that site instead and when I tried to unrar it asks for a password! There seems to be no password on the site. Someone knows if their iso's has a password?

I began to think that there is something wrong with my rar, asking for passwords that does not seems to exist =S

Edit: Tried another package that is rar and does not have a password, and it is still asking for a password... So ignore my question about a password from that site, sorry for bothering you here.

When used to extract, the program 7-zip sometimes asks for a password if you're extracting corrupt (as in not 100% downloaded) files. Have you checked if all the files have the same size, save for the last one which is smaller than the rest?

The files from here have the same size, the one from the other site is one big file. I tried to extract from a command line and then it does not ask for a password, but I get two errors saying crc failed.
I will try an older version of rar, but I think searching for tales of destiny II somewhere else may be faster than trying things for hours, but I have to find one that is not rar.

I think the file is corrupt because of the other error message unexpected end of archive, both the files from here and the other site.

Then, my only suggestion is trying Snesorama, which also has Tales of Destiny II. But honestly, if you've downloaded from two different sites and neither seems to work, the problem is likely with your software, not the archives you are downloading.

Yes, maybe, it seems so. I will try one last time with that site. Thanks.

I hope you haven't deleted the files you got from here. You can execute batch files in Linux but that wouldn't help in this case. In case you still have the files you downloaded from here:
    1) Open the rar files that contains the batch files to put together all the pieces of the download.
2)Extract them to the folder which contains all the pieces of the game.
    3)Find your text editor.
    4)Open your text editor.
5)Drag the batch file into the text editor
    (or)
Press File->Open, locate the first batch file and open it.
6)Find all instances of "Copy" and replace them with "cp"
7)Find all instances of "del" and replace with "rm"
8)Save the file. Just press the save button so that the file name remains at whatever it was previously. (This is not really necessary, but it will make the file work exactly as how it was meant to.)
9)Open your equivalent of the Command line or Terminal or whatever and go the folder in which the batch file is stored.
10)In the equivalent of the Command line or Terminal or whatever, type this without the quotes:"bash 'put name of batch file here'" (where 'put name of batch file here' is the name of the file, I think it should be called something like Tales of Destiny Combine part1.bat or something)
11)There should be a new file called Tales of Destiny.rar or something which contains your image file and the bat file should have been deleted along with the different pieces.
    12)Extract the rar file
13)Play using a Psx emulator or do whatever you intended to do.

Hope that helps, it's from my experience of using Linux. And it should work. Plus, I think this is the longest post i've ever written. The only thing you won't get is the message at the end. Tell me if it doesn't work and I'll do it myself and upload it for you. I suppose I shoulda just done that in the beginning but the information that I've provided should help you in other similar cases. It's a "give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats forever" or if you want "give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, put a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life" case.
