    Default Big Pcsx2 problem..

i'm sorta new to the emulator pcx2, but i followed the guide on the web site and I got the bios and all the plugins in and correctly configured. But when I try to play the game, everything seems to run perfectly at first, the pcsx2 logo shows up and fades away, then the screen stays black for the rest of the time...what's up with that? The game i'm trying to run is marvel vs capcom 2.

First, check the emulator's compatibility list online to see if that game is on it. Second, post your computer's specs (it takes a powerful computer to run pcsx2 at even half of normal speed, which is all you can expect from it).

It's playable according to the compat list.

You also need a graphics card which supports pixel shading for the emulator to play anything.

Don't bother. You need dual core just to play it at half speed.

and the Dreamcast version is quite easy to get. There are several torrent sites out there. Including some with collections of entire systems or genres. Or emule (it's hella slow but it always gets me what I want eventually)
and snesorama boards. And Chankast emulates it fine
