    Yeah I've seen that,
but what I havent seen is anything from Arcsys.

    Sorry for being skeptical/
    but I am.

I would really love to see it on Wii.

So yeah, it's news I guess.

EDIT: Classic controller is in for GG? Good.

I knew that it came out for one console or another. Wasn't it a near-launch title? All I can remember is that it wasn't very noteworthy a game.

I do hope that the Wii version is a new game based on the license, or it's going to be so not worth it...

Yeah, it's a new game. If you remember Rise from the Ashes, the Gundam in that didn't look much like in the anime. The Wii version stays true to the anime.

Oh. Well here's to hoping that it doesn't suck.

Not being familiar with Gundam at all, I thought it was some variation on Transformers or something when I first played it.
    Kinda like Mech-Formers...

I tried to figure out Gundam once, but there seems to be like..fifty thousand different series out there. Way too many to try and sort out.

All I really know to this day is that it's an anime.

    Average Gundam plot:

    1. Emo kid finds Gundam.
    2. Emo kid randomly decides to pilot Gundam, despite having no prior experience.
    3. Emo kid gets caught up in the middle of huge space conflict between two warring factions.
    4. Lots of cool robot fights ensue.
    5. ?????
    6. PROFIT!

(Note that this does not apply to G Gundam, which is just insane.)

Nintendo bought Monolith... Not that surprising, as Nintendo have expressed interest in making Baten Kaitos an exclusive series for future generations, but... There goes another potential reason for me to buy a PS3 as, if the Xenosaga series continues, it won't be on Sony consoles. I can't really see the Xeno series continuing now, though. It had a fairly small fanbase as is, and its pretty poor sales probably won't merit the financial strain of developing for a new platform and trying to bring said fanbase over. Shame. =(

Well, considering that the series was owned and operated by Monolith, I'd say that the answer is no. Much like Microsoft got ahold of Conker and Banjo when they bought Rare.

It would be interesting to see Monolith develop a Xeno game for the Wii. It won't happen, but Melody can dream, no?

Also depends on if Monolith acquired the rights to Xenosaga/Baten Kaitos or if they stayed at Namco.

I think Monolith always had the rights, Namco just published. And, with Nintendo owning something like 80% of Monolith now, any future Xenosaga will be on Nintendo consoles, no doubt.

And yes, I can dream indeed.
