It's a lot better than the first BB. There's a lot more to do, and it's not like 3 fights and it's over, either.

I personally find the second game to be weaker than the first. The story mode is better constructed, but the combat system is seriously different from the original (two attacks buttons, two stances and two block buttons rather than the 3/3/1 split of the original, the shurikens and dirt throwing are out as well iirc, plus some characters have completely unique fighting styles), and not really for the better.

None that play remotely like Bushido Blade. For more normal fighting games that are weapon-based, the Samurai Shodown series is a slab of fun as long as you stay away from the 3d incarnations. The first Dynasty Warriors isn't bad either.

Yeah , today I play it with my brother using the psx netplay. It is awesome and yes the first (Bushido blade 1 ) combat system is better but bushido blade 2 have more character and and weapon.

I haven't managed to figure out how to do anything but run, stab, and slash. It's all I needed, though, cause I've beat the game twice with two characters. The POV mode sounds awesome but it badly executed.

Must agree there. Man I wish that a 3rd sequel would come out. The series was really different and if they changed the game a bit for todays standards it would be killer.

They'd have to make it ultra gory, or I'd hate it. :O I was expecting the playstation ones to be, from screenshots I remember seeing years ago in a magazine I thought that body parts got bloody when you slashed them and you could cut them off or cut your opponent in half and stuff like that

There will not be a bushido blade 3 but there are "Kengo: Master of Bushido " a sequel from bushido blade team. I read a few of the review somewhere and they say that it sucks compare to bushido blade.

It does suck. No Bushido Blade game should ever feature a health bar.
