That'll work. I've yet to hear of any operating, then again I'm somewhat out of touch with the goings on in the world. The news is depressing and boring as hell. Not to mention everything is always smoothed over with some government shine. He wasn't "stealing from the jar" he was "borrowing and investing, while planning to pay it back with interest". *cough*There is, however, room for what they call "public-private partnerships", where hospitals are being kept in check and up to standards (lol) by the government. Also, no need to build more hospitals, just private clinics for minor surgeries and such. Those already exist and are currently running, AFAIK. There is no need to take an hospital bed that costs twice as much when the patient can be operated elsewhere. Hell, we have people going to the US just because they're tired of waiting.
Yes, money would be flowing in. From the private clinics. Which suddenly makes them seem a little more promising to the doctors. And since people are paying for this service, you'd think the better staff would be involved in there. Also the staff may end up getting a cut of the profit from the operations or procedures. While staff may be shared with a "public" hospital, it just seems like things would somehow end up unbalanced.It won't go to shit, since more money will be flowing in from those who are able or willing to pay.

Which would then cause people to reconsider going to the private clinic, pretty much eliminating the purpose. I'm sure these clinics would have to be supported in some way by tax dollars. I agree fully with that one. Although in some cases these "problems" actually could be something worse than they first appear. I guess it kind of depends on the case and everything. But yes, simple clinics would be a good idea in a lot of cases.What makes the present system so crappy is that it's not being controlled adequately. You have people wasting money and time for problems that a simple doctor in a simple clinic can take care of.
*cough* yeah. Bullshit alright. Sure the idea makes sense, not having an overworked doctor doing surgery, but the quotas need to be raised or altered based on how skilled/prepared the surgeon is. Simple surgery isn't exactly brain surgery. Literally.I'm almost forgetting the quotas our doctors have. They can't operate as much as they feel they can, so people have to wait. Ugh, it's a lost cause.
