Does a PS2 has a game like Midtown Madness ???

As of recently, me and a few of my friends have been playing Midtown Madness (I know its an old game ) on PCs (Lan party ) and a thought occured to me. Does this kind of game exist for Playstation 2 ???

Am particularly interested in the multiplayer part (Cops & Robbers) where you can ROAM the city freely in your CAR searching for gold and then trying to make it to your Hideout (for robbers) or Bank (for cops) to deposit the gold, thereby increasing your overall score. This kind of mulitplayer is really good, and am seeking a game that has this kind of multiplayer on Playstation 2 so I can play it with my little cousin brother at home

So, got any suggestions ??? Its like GTA meets NFS multiplayer

Lol...Well actually my cousin gets BORED TO DEATH (he's 10 years old ) at home and we haven't played any multiplayer games lately coz we are thru with almost all multiplayer games that we have for the PS2

I saw the NFS series mentioned earlier... Why not just get some Need for Speed Games for your PS2...
