The only three times I have left this forum (in order) were: 1.- I had an emo moment, 2.- I went out of the city, 3.- My Internet connection got screwed.

Other than that I'm planning to stay here forever.

In my case

1- school related (which changed for the better, allowing me to actually find time to resume posting and enjoying the good life of gaming and spamming)

2- away from computer (couple weeks)

3- Incredibly busy week or two doing something else

4- away from computer (couple weeks)

5- Left due to seemingly having people turn against me due to a certain nameless asshole (lasted a couple days to a little over a week IIRC, ended with an apology e-mail)

6- Couple of weeks (away from computer)

Yeah, I really need to get another computer for "home". Small towns suck.

Here's the thing though, this is the second time I've had my old admin position dangled in front of me like a joke. The first time was allegedly a mistake

You weren't the only one who felt fucked with, Cyber. Please don't make it sound like a sob story, because it's not. I was fucked with also, remember? SMod? I was actually given the position, then it was taken back? Yeah. You're not the only one.

Has it just, totally flown above your head? No one is upset that Cosmic went above Sprungs word. His word isn't complete law here. The fact is, we're all supposed to DISCUSS these things. You know that. Cosmic knew that. Did we really need another Admin? Not really. Really, what's the difference between you as a moderator, who was in charge of, what, 1/3rd of the entire board, compared to being an Admin? You were promoted to Admin for the sake of handling all the recent noobs. So basically, locking threads and making a few bans, possibly handing out some infractions. Yes, you really needed to be Adminned for that. Especially for sections of this forum that you already had control over.

Both times it felt like I was being fucked with, and while it could be worse indeed, I'm still fucking sore about it. Especially when one considers just how hypocritical it was to have it taken away this time around.

You shouldn't have been Adminned, especially not the way Cosmic chose to do it. Of the entire active staff, you and Cosmic seem to be the only ones fines with the way you become an Admin. That says something. Even Elmdor disagrees, and he's usually very laid back and non-confrontational about things.

Well then Cosmic is about as much help to the boards as any one of those other inactive Admins that hasn't shown their faces here for well over a year. If he wanted to help, then he should have found time to do so. If you wanted to help, you should have MADE time to do so. Yes, I understand that everyone has their own shit to deal with, but you basically had all the tools and accesses you needed to handle the situations. There was was no need to Admin you, and the way it was executed was pretty bad.
