super also supports audio, but for audio i really prefer nch switch [the smallest converter you can find] small fast, easy and has all the options basic / advanced.
pretty much supports ALL file types including aac

dbPoweramp is superiorAt least, it is every bit as good as any other "great" audio encoding app out there. It takes everything you throw at it.
I find MediaCoder to be the easiest to use and it supports a buttload of formats. (not only audio, video too)
It's a batch transcoder using all the open source programs from around the web to get the best results.
