is it just me or have the forums been constantly slowing down? Each day it seems like less and less people are signing on. The most people ever online was like 800 something, but since ive been here i havent seen more than 30 people on at the same time.

It's been that way for a while.

It usually picks up on the weekend.

New membership has been down quite a bit, and the people who show up either leave or get banned for the most part.

And a lot of the heavily active people from way back stopped coming.

So, yeah, ep's slowing down.

I swear, it's the curse of BitTorrent! Today it's so much easier to get your hands on an ISO or two than it was during the golden years.

Not to mention the gigantic hard drives and high dl speeds making it a lot easier to download and store the old goodsets.

Who doesn't have at least 4 full rom sets on their HD at this point? Instead of simply downloading a handful of games.

Beta/cancelled games? I torrented the full uncensored American version of Thrill Kill the other day. That'd attract some attention. :3 I could get it again (I deleted it a couple days after downloading it cause it was pretty shit ).
Japanese and other foreign versions of games, too. I've played the demo of MGS2 with the japanese dialogue and I have to say, that was far more entertaining than the english version. So melodramatic!
