I was shocked to learn we have to speed the clocks up again on the 11th.

    It's so retarded.

Yeah, I wish that I could take it a little later. I would have been able to go to Rhode Island if it was a week later, but now I get to sit at home by myself.

After a lifetime of no daylight savings why do they have to start now?

I prefer to stay home. Whenever we take 'real' vacations somewhere, when I get back, I'm exhausted and have to go back to work.

    Staying home is more relaxing.

Well, from what I have read, we did have DST until the 70's, and stopped doing it. I figured it was because we suddenly relised how stupid it was.

And now we're right back in the same boat.

I don't like those, "Hey lets go stay in a hotel and watch cable" kind of vacations. I would be staying with family, and they are some pretty cool people.

I completely agree. "Vacations" exhaust me more than they do good.

Yep. Too much traveling and not enough resting. I take vacations to relax, not drive all day.
