If you actually want a game that's close to the DBZ series, and also goes into the GT series, character wise, and story wise, you can't really go wrong with Tenkaichi 2.

I think you can, but I forgot. I played through most of the story modes, and unlocked alot of characters. I know I missed a bunch of the item fused characters, though. It was fun using Mr. Satan. Oh, and you need to try a hand at fighting one of those great apes using someone like kid Gohan, or Krillin.
