OGG at high bitrates is like getting sucked by a meat grinder.
Not fun.

What is wrong though, is mp3 at 181kbps. Probably a VBR though, so at least...

Ugh, my monitor isn't exactly close to me. It's not the typical in my face distance as it is for some people. That's why I need it at that resolution sometimes.

first few mistakes: Nero, Bearshare, Internet Explorer, Foobar 2000 and BitLord.
Alcohol 120%, errr ditch Bearshare fullstop, FireFox, Winamp and uTorrent.
that's the way forward.

I use Nero, and enjoy using it, so no, I won't remove that. Bearshare, I won't remove yet. IE, I might as well remove that. Foobar, no, I won't remove that. It's better than WinAmp. I use BitLord only when the two other programs I use fail.

No, my monitor isn't tiny. I'm simply not up close to it.

Eh. I usually do increase the resolution when I sit infront of the monitor. When I'm not, then I decrease it. Should be simple to understand.

I was the first to bitch about Nero, but I have to say this application comes in handy sometimes.
