I've never heard this, and even if that were true (even though dreaming activates systems across both hemispheres), the two hemispheres are still connected. Oddly enough, I can't seem to remember the name of the structure that connects the two hemispheres, which is quite...frustrating.

I've got some strange recurring "effect of a dream". A bit off topic, but still.

It's one of those short dreams in which I go down a stair, or just walk about, and trip. I wake up, and my body moves just as if it was really happening. Legs get in position, hands move forward, heart rate goes up, etc. It's pretty weird. Happens often, too.

i often had that when i was younger. It means i need to go wee-wee.when i was younger i cant bear going to the toilet (or out of my bed ~_~) at night ill find some way to wake up mommy (she is in the next room) from my bed.

I had a dream that I was a guitarist for cannibal corpse as a fill-in since one of theirs was sick at a show. I was next to Alex Webster (as you all may know he is known for his insane lengths of headbanging in every direction) playing "Pulverized". Me and Alex were playing/headbanging and a short while later Alex's head falls off.
