The Overcoat, by Gogol. Strange story. Plus, started reading The Shining from Stephen King. Also, finished reading The Goat-skin, by Honor de Balzac.

The Painter Knight, Fiona Patton
Legacy of Prometheus, Eric Kotani and John Maddox Roberts
The latter's a reread, but I hadn't read it in years, and I had forgotten quite a bit about it. The former was a moderately interesting story, crossing between the main character's perspective in the present (of the story) as an old man, and his recollections of the past. As well, I've just purchased a book I've been intending to read for quite some time, and stated as much repeatedly here: The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas, pre.
Read The magicians nephew, The lion the witch and the wardrobe, the horse and his boy, and prince caspian. All on my cellphone. I found a java based cellphone book reader for e-books and text files. Pretty cool. It works on my 6220 all you need is some way to transfer the app to your cellphone and have java on your phone. You compile the app with the books you want inside it and then transfer.
Can get it from : http://tequilacat.nm.ru///download/ and there is an English help page at http://tequilacat.nm.ru///help.html cos it's a russian site.

I've been reading lots of comics, because with all the study my mind can't really cope with too much thought. So I've read Books 1 and 2 of Age of Apocalypse, which were great. It's really obvious why this is a fan-favourite storyline. Also read Essential X-Men Vol. 2, which was basically the original Phoenix saga. Newb stuff, but I am comic newb.
Last book I read was Babel-17 by Samuel Delany. It was a really great book.
The silent war- Ben Bova. The third book in the asteroid wars triology.
Last books ive read are:
The whole Hitchhiker's trilogy
The Riftwar Saga

My parents decided to do some cleaning, which meant four full boxes of books and two of National Geographics circa 1970's went to be sold. Of course, being who I am, I..."liberated" a few dozen, including a fairly large collection of Piers Anthony. Right now I'm reading The Wind Singer, by William Nicholson, but I'll have a good time for quite a while.
I ♥ Half Price Books
Last stuff I read was probably some Vampire the Masquerade clan novel. Assamite, I think.
Also, a short story by Lovecraft, called The Whisperer in Darkness. Bizarre and shocking, truly excellent stuff.
And finally, lots of stuff from Edgar Allan Poe. I won't list all of it, I'll just mention that the story called Ligeia was probably what I liked most.
Just read The Crucible Of Time, Great book, a bit fast paced, but a great book.
the first half of beowulf, it was only to pass the time til I got my laptop (which was like a month and a half ago).
Reading Harry Potter Order of Phoenix, want to finish the book before I see the movie.I messed up last time and saw the movie before I read the book, both were still awesome though.
The Dresden Files
yes, all 9 of them.
