Not really, it's just about the same thing... Played both versions already, so I should know...

Ohshi~! I only played the patched ROM and a patched FF4-easytype ROM, and well... It was easier. Wasn't sure which one the US version was made from, I heard it was the latter. Never really tried it since the not-so-great translation was causing me serious pains.

Yeah, I had both the easy type and original release ROM, but my translation patch was pretty good, dunno whatcha talking about there...

I even upped the battle speed and changed to active type -- only two bosses that gave me a whoopin' were the dark elf and the demon wall... Dunno, maybe it's because I was already familiar with the game, so meh...

Not the translation patch, the official translation was what sucked. That's why I only played the patched version.

Anyway, another hard game was Marble Madness... I could never get myself to finish that game...

A manic shooter in the same style as Giga Wing or Mars Matrix, but without an actual end. If you finish all the stages, it just loops back and kicks up the difficulty another notch.

The game is impossible to beat, but me and my buddy beat it last night, using cheats. If your going to play it(I advise you dont), be prepared for a shitty ending.

Ninja Gaiden and Super Smash TV. Fucking Shinobi. Shinobi just got literally impossible at one point. It wasn't even a combat are that did it, either. I just couldn't fucking believe that if your knees are below water, YOU DIE.
