and that's it,never heard anything by them or even an album's title or a
    song's title.

anyway, going back to the topic,I like abba, and I have some of their records,
(lp,as in vinyl records,as in REAL RECORDS). I feel like if I deserve to be punished by some kind of rock-and-roll-inquisition for liking such a
commercial shallow pop made-up band. they used to do playback/mimic,
in the records the guys that played the instruments were not the guys
from the band, their live album is fake, made up of the recordings they
used to do the playback/mimic with some noise "mix-pasted" on top of it,
and all that kind of crap, but I like some songs in some albums,it's like
    a guilty pleasure.
    nothing

I love the Cure. But, everyone else ridicules them because they consider them "Dark, Ambient" and overall they just call them original. I don't feel dumb for liking them. I just feel like i'm the only one who listens to them around here.

Also, Soundgarden is among my favorite bands. But, all these kids that love Audioslave either have never heard of them, or don't like them. Oh well, More for me. lol

    This band called "Of Montreal"

I keep listening to their few good hits, and they sound like a better Weezer, but I love the songs for some reason.

If you're trying to introduce a friend to Judas Priest, don't make the mistake of showing him the music video of Painkiller from Yahoo. Also, if you're gonna introduce someone to Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime album, start with the last track first....

If you disobey these words of advice and don't feel like an idiot later, you've got some very tolerant/patient friends.

I have at least three band's that I really like,
    Dir en grey
    Buck-Tick
and the third band is ''Sex Machinegun'' these band's are some how wierd, they are Heavey-Metal Japanese rocker's, they dress up in funky out-fit, plus wear lot's of make-up and some time in a live concert two of the member kiss each other in the lip's, while playing in the middle of the music, talking about wierd, but hey I really like them.

It's a single song rather than a band for me - I like a song called "Way To Go', by a dance band called the Rogue Traders. My friend Miki and I agree that we hate ourselves for liking it. XD

Toto, I'm sorry. We got addicted to it. We can't stand the band. XD

    I love Motion City Soundtrack.

The other band I'm a little embarrassed about liking is Mercury4 - everyone is really surprised when I say I like a boy band, since I mostly listen to punk. They seem to have disappeared, though. Their website is gone.
