Oh dear me. The best thing is, that most people who log onto the internet with the intention of flaming are so sublimely thick that the unintentional humour conveyed therein more than makes up for any offense taken.
For the most part, its like real life. Act like an arse and you will take flak, simple really. To name an example, if someone portrays themselves via a blog or whatever they are effectively opening themselves up for comment, be it praise, critisism or whatever, and so dont (to my mind) have a moral leg to stand on. Its in a similiar vein to celebrities who moan about losing their privacy and demanding they recieve protection from the press - even though they court the media when they are portrayed in a better light.
