    Default KVCD Quality

    I have seen my first KVCD movie file and it was damn near excellent quality...are all KVCD files that good or was i just lucky to see that?

    kvcd are basically dvd rips of movies. they keep alot of the dvd quality but its alot smaller in size. usually anyway. so yeah, if you d/l kvcd movies, expect dvd like quality

    KVCD is an excellent-quality encode, but the quality still depends on the source video, of course. For people who ddon't have a DVD burner yet and want to create something that will play on most standalone DVD players, KVCD's a great alternative to VCD and SVCD.
