I was installing style xp but I cancelled out because it wanted to install all this third-party bs software, and there wasn't an apparent way to continue without the extra crap, so I pretty much just said fuck it

You'd be better off with Windowblinds 5 anyway, because if you combine that with a patched uxtheme.dll you've got all the theming goodness you need, in a process that uses less resources than Windows' native skinning engine.
