I wish there was still a basic P2P app like Kazaa from four or five years ago. Still, such applications are pretty pointless in the days of Bittorrent and easy-to-use newsgroups.

Totally irrelevant, but is that T as in Thierry?

Limewire, by the way, is amusingly good for single songs, but emule is good for albums. For a P2P, that is.

limewire is pretty good but u have to b a bit cautious when dling....many files are renamed and can be any million different types of self renaming, self replicating virus files or retarded self renaming self replicating ads. i've had alot of luck finding wut i want on limewire, but not psx isos....you'll find the files on the network but usually only one user carries it and therefor the transfer gets soooo slow and it wont finish the dl before you're out looking for sources again. the resume feature doesn't usually work in the case because limewire does not go back to the original source, it just searches for sources matching the file name. but for naruto episodes, new dvd releases (can b a pain sometimes getting good quality ones and not hand cam garbage), and mp3s (especially mp3s you can find most anything) limewire is a great source.

tip: if a search turns up file that is the same size on a lot of different sources, then that is a sign the file is a self replicating something. watch out for repeating file sizes! In limewire, the bigger the file sizes are less likely to be a virus.

ive learned some things with limewire pro
dont dl anything that is 857.1 kb
    or something like that
and also dont type anything in order
that way u can catch the files that rename themselves
    example....
if u want an episode of ghost in the shell
type shell ghost or something like that

I have such a hard time finding anything worth downloading while using Limewire. I really like ED2k and Soulseek though. Is Pro that much better than the regular client?
