I had two when I was about 4,5 they're very very easy to handle, they don't bark or damage the furniture, just feed them and they will be happ.

I suggest you to get one!

If you put a ferret in your trousers, it will start to run around. You'd be amazed at the energy.

Also reminds me of that part of The Big Lebowski when the three European bad guys threw a ferret into the bathtub with The Dude.

Any cat-based(dunno the word... you know cat, tiger, cheetah etc.) pet is great. I love cat's hunting reflex. How they try to catch everything that moves.

I like Daschunds (I have one named Rufus) but favorite pet has to be fish their so easy to take care; albeit they are a bit boring.
