Sorry for the double post, but I tried uploading with Uploading.com last night. I tried to upload four files (100 MBs ea.), and not a single one got through. Two of them got to 20 MBs, the other two were stuck at 5 MBs. Thank god Megashares is back up.

EDIT: Well, I think I found out what's causing the problem. Uploading.com seems to be under reconstruction, and Bellsouth desided to upgrade my internet early. Boy, imagine my surprise when I was downloading Rising Zan at 100-150 kb/s!

EDIT2: It must just be the internet thing, Uploading.com seems normal.

I am so pissed off. I uploaded 27 psx games last night (over 10gbs) and when I woke up in the morning to see if the last game finished, I see it never did and I refresh the page to see that uploading.com is under reconstruction...

Badongo states in their TOS that they're allowed to sue you if you're under 18

I'm actually older but those rules are really strange... And you have no way to check that. If a link is posted anywhere thats possible but not if a user with an ip is 18 or not.

wow the first file finished and I saw that you can sign up for a free account there where you see all your uploads, can manage your uploads, are able to upload some file at once. doesn't look too bad. But I don't want to fake another account to avoid spam
and they have such a bad system that you can upload multiple files at once using different browseres (just a little hit )

Basically it's a backdoor insurance policy in court. If they sue you because you were abusing their cpu/bandwidth resources and they discover you're under 18, they can just sue you for being under 18 and using their service.

Well, it seems that Megashares is having some problems with their Custom Uploads section, so I'm going to take today off and catch up with my downloading (I still need to get Xena's BT upload of the perfect rip of Shenmue by Kalisto...).

You should stop the megashares. Have you tried downloading anything from it recently? They recently installed a wait-time, and it makes you wait 10 minutes even though it says estimated time: 1 min

I have a question... How many of these sites support download managers and allow resuming?

Oh, I tried the uploading.com links and it seems resuming is ok.

uploading.com is the best! You just have to make sure you dont stop it at 99% or the file gets broken.

Would adding a recovery record to the archive fix that? Or is it broken in the sense that the download would fail and you'd have to start over?

I suppose I will try Uploading.com once again. But the thing is, I usually upload a lot of files while I'm away, usually 6-8 or so. This means not only do I have to use a ton of windows (or tabs), but all of the files are being uploaded at once. I would much rather queue my uploads overnight, and only Megashares.com, with their uploading Java applet, allows me to do that.
