Slightly off topic, I know. But not that much, it'd make the link threads more compact.
haha my bad, I just wanted my posts to be big, noticable, and pretty

Nah, it's not just you, most people who upload do that. I might be the only one annoyed (or without a sufficiently fast broadband internet )

Yeah, I just figured that if you're going to be downlading such huge files, items on a page such as pictures wouldnt matter. :\ Guess I was wrong.

I've got a nice connection, but why would I want to see pictures of a game? Are people window shopping or something?

Anyways, I haven't downloaded something since 3 or so weeks ago...

    My two cents.

I second that notion. Images of CD covers that fill up the entire screen are hardly necessary.

Well I actually like to see the front cover of the game. But I agree that ingame graphics and backside covers are just to much if you don't have a fast connection.

A decent sized front cover to identify the game would be no problem I guess. IMO, the alternative would be 2 smaller sized images for the front cover and back, but nothing more.

I include the covers of the game (front, back, and disc) for people that would burn the game to a disc, and then put it into a case, like I want to do. I find that it makes things easier. But maybe, to solve the problem, we can just use thumbnails?

    How about filefront.com?

Just rename a file, and put a password on a archive. You can use download managers, I did try using DAP on a file and that went pretty fast.

Look into filefront for a sec.

How bout we all just use BitTorrent? More people will get the games that way, and no one can kill or steal the links. Just my 2 cents. I think it's more rewarding that way, since it does take a rather long time to up something to YSI or whatnot just to have only 25 people or less get the game. And just use http://imageshack.us for upping images of covers or whatever. I always make my covers 500x500 so they aint too big, plus imageshack gives links to thumbs of the pix too, so the posts won't load so slow for people.
