yep thats what I mean, 3 thread to cover everything, to be honest I don't know why the comments and requests were split upOriginally Posted by Acrimonious

They didn't agree, dishes were thrown... Big mess. Don't ask.
Could we have like:
Upload forum / 3 links (YSI, Rapidshare, mix) threads + requests thread + comments thread
?
Is this even making sense?
I understand what you meanOriginally Posted by Acrimonious
It would be easier just for the user to post the link in one thread, I mean they don't even have to say what service they used as it'll be in the link![]()
Due to the incompetence of some of the upload services, I have to disagree with you there. I am extremely tidy as well. I agree on the comments thread, requests thread in only being one thread; however, I believe that there should be a thread for which upload service you will be using. I would hate to suddenly find the game I've been looking for, only to realize the bastard uploaded it onto rapidshare (which takes a whole day to download something equivalent to an hour elsewhere). I agree it's very cumbersome at the moment, however, there should be multple link threads specified to which uploader they are using. Unless everyone agrees upon one uploading service, this is pretty much what I'm sticking to.Originally Posted by Ra's Al Ghul

A good arguement, so the single Comments and requests thread is still ok then? hmm, well YSI, Rapidshare, Megaupload are the main ones at the moment so that would make 4 main threads, 5 including the master thread which if any change is done will probably be changed and/or removedOriginally Posted by Luckey

The thing is that with one links thread, if many people are uploading stuff, the pace will be crazy. Maybe two? YSI and others.
Yeah, you're getting uploads for you. :eyeball:I would hate to suddenly find the game I've been looking for, only to realize the bastard uploaded it onto rapidshare
YSI is losing appeal with a few people, that is why I was suggesting just a general thread for all the links, and if it was all one thread, I'd say it'd run at the same pace about as the comments/requests thread used to.Originally Posted by Acrimonious

Here is what we should do:
Lock all the old comments and requests threads (start from a fresh start)
Create Two New Threads:
Upload Service Comments and Suggestions
Upload Service Requests
Then as for the main links threads, someone can create:
Yousendit.com Upload Service (Links Only)
Megaupload.com Upload Service (Links Only)
Rapidshare.com Upload Service (Links Only)
Then if the person uploading is using an as of yet unknown upload site, they format the thread as followed:
"URL Link with extention (.com/.org/.etc)" Upload Service (Links Only)
example: Uploading.com Upload Service (Links Only)
You realize you have to wait an HOUR after every 100mb you download from rapidshare? I've been downloading Rising Zan since 8am this morning....Originally Posted by Acrimonious

lol, after using Uploading.com, I find that was very good, granted it only lets you upload 300 mb as opposed to YSI's 1GB, but uploading a 250mb file in the space of 10 minutes is pretty good going, plus it'll be there for a longer time (14 days of inactivity)Originally Posted by Luckey

It might be a stupid question, but why do people put game info and pictures in the links threads? Wouldn't it be more sensible to just include an info link (and crosslink the info to the download links) and then it wouldn't take 5 minutes for the page to load, just so people can get the link.
Slightly off topic, I know. But not that much, it'd make the link threads more compact.
