Any of the Gundam games for the Dreamcast. Slave Zero is a giant robot game, but not a very good one. The Macross games are decent.
As you can tell, I am not a 'giant robot' fan![]()
does shadow of the colius (spelling, know thats not right) count? cause i loved that game. and i now need to buy it cause i got a slim ps2 for christmas. my friend owns it.
I don't care if your world is ending today/ Because I wasn't invited to it anyway/ You said I tasted famous, so I drew you a heart/ But now I'm not an artist I'm a fucking work of art/ I got an F and a C and I got a K too/ And the only thing that's missing is a bitch like U
Probably the only one I played was Gundam Wing: Endless Duel for SNES.
Phantom crash for the Xbox. Or S.L.A.I for the PS2. Then of course every Armored core game ever made, they're the way forward.
Oh, and thread moved to general gaming.
Raaagghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... hh..
Armored Core series, best ones!
I think he's specifically asking for FIGHTING games featuring mechas. Not RPG/adventure/action ones.
Gundamwing Endless Duel on the SNES is indeed incredibly good.
Tech Romancer is a 3D fighting mecha game on the DC and Arcade (plays fine on Chankast and Zinc)
Virtual On (Saturn/PC) uses an arena-based 1-on-1 fighting system like Powerstone. Virtual On Oratorio Tangram is the DC sequel
there's also Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness on MAME/PSX but that one sucks
Give me what I want or face destruction........IN JAPANESE!
Definately. And the Front Mission series as well.Originally Posted by crusher

Sacrifices have been made, thunder and lightning appear
Rejoice in hideous blasphemy, know that the time is near
The chosen hail their master well, lusting for hate and scorn
Crying out in evil ecstacy, the antichrist is born
LOL OMG I'M ON MYSPACE I'M A SELLOUT
Xenogears.
But seriously, the Mechwarrior games on PC are pretty good.
The one-on-one Cyberbots game is decent at best, although its good when you want to throw down and are bored of standard one-on-one fighters. The other game in the series, Armored Warriors (european name, dont know the japanese one) is a very good side-scrolling brawler. Not as good as the legends of the genre (Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Final Fight) but a solid tier-2 game.Originally Posted by Myst
War of the Monsters. Now thats an awesome one-on-one brawler. It has a couple of robots![]()

The Armored Core series, as has been mentioned twice before. If you have any interest in having a machine built your specs and then going out and wrecking shit, than THIS is the game that you want.
Zone of the Enders is pretty dope, as well. Fast paced and frenetic but much more story oriented than AC, meaning you HAVE to go somewhere. I just play AC: Nine Breaker all day and do nothing.
